Ralf Strunk Born September 19, 1965 in Kiel/Germany

Ralf Strunk came to music under the influence of the AC/DC live album 'If You Want Blood'. Impressed by the raw power of them and bands like Judas Priest and Iron Maiden he decided to buy his first guitar at age 15. Half a year later he and his classmate Peter Schwarzkopf formed the core of the band Werwolf, which now is known as WARSTONE. For the lack of a real singer he also took the place behind the microphone, trying to find a line between Rob Halford and Ozzy Osbourne.

Facing that both, playing guitar and singing, would never effect a pleasing result, he chose the part of the band's voice. With the band turning in a more progressive direction and always with an eye on Queensryche singer Geoff Tate he finally reached a standard which seperates the singer from the shouter.
